MIT Academy of Engineering accepts JEE Main and MHT CET scores for admission to BTech courses. MHT CET 2024 exam for the PCM group has started and will end on May 17, 2024. The results are expected to be out in the second week of June 2024. For BTech admission at MIT Academy of Engineering, students need to attend the MHT CET Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) which starts in June and ends in August 2024 (tentative).
MIT Academy of Engineering or MITAOE, was established in 1999 under the trust ‘Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research (MAEER)’. The institute offers Eight UG programs and three PG programs (M.Tech), in line with the guidelines of National Education Policy 2020. MITAOE School of Design started in 2020 with 3 core pillars of pedagogy, viz., Tantra- Technology, Anubhav - Human experiences & Nirantar- Sustainability, offering Bachelor of Design (B.Des) courses with specializations in Product Design, Communication Design & User Experience Design. Amidst Engineering expertise around Computers, E&TC, and Mechanical leveraged to focus on ‘Technology-driven design’. Predominantly project-based curriculum in design, block teaching modules, and electives offered to students during the 3rd and 4th years further open up possibilities for newer specializations and career options for students. Emphasis on developing visual skills, art skills, digital skills, model/prototype-making skills, and early exposure to emerging technologies in digital & physical space prepares students for the diverse demands of the industries. Regular displays, exhibitions at the end of every semester, and juries conducted by industry experts prepare them further for real-world opportunities.
MITAOE has taken the initiative to implement NEP 2020. The curriculum of various programs is revised as per NEP guidelines. Skill-based, activity-based, project-based, experiential learning and assessment reforms are the key initiatives taken by MITAOE. Industrial exposure to students through semester-long internships and summer internship programs is the key to success at MITAOE in terms of student placement.

MIT Academy of Engineering admission process for BTech involves students passing the MHT CET exam. For 2024, MHT CET exam is ongoing for the PCM group. The exams are on May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17. MHT CET 2024 results will be out in the second week of June 2024 (expected). MIT Academy of Engineering admission to BTech is through MHT CET counselling which is expected to be held from June to August 2024.

The MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi provides full-time B.Tech courses with six specializations. The candidate must have passed the HSC examination with a minimum cumulative score of 45%, with mathematics, physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects. Before applying for MIT Academy of Engineering admission to the computer science programme, candidates must take the JEE Main test or the MHT-CET offered by the DTE of Maharashtra. For SC/ ST/ OBC/ physically challenged applicants, there is a 5% mark relaxation at the time of admission.
MITAOE offers two specializations in M.tech. For admissions to M.Tech courses, the criteria is having a bachelor's degree in the concerned field of engineering and technology with at least 50% marks. After the MHT CET 2024 results are released in the second week of June 2024 (expected) the counselling process will start. The campus has a dedicated internet leased line, Wi-Fi, and modern PCs that are internally networked. The laboratories are well-maintained and well-equipped. The college offers decent and reasonably priced hostel accommodations for both boys and girls. Other facilities include a sports field that has a number of outdoor game equipment, a large and well-equipped canteen, a central auditorium with air conditioning, and a library.
Library: MITAOE's central library gives students access to a huge variety of resources to help broaden the knowledge bases of its faculty and students. The library has 48,000 books and more than 11,000 titles. The library has a substantial collection of books, magazines, e-books, CDs, and DVDs, among other things.
E-Library: A digital library containing a tonne of e-books, online journals, video lectures, e-resources, exam-related materials, etc. is provided by MITAOE. The college has also purchased access to a number of well-known online video courses from NPTEL, SWAYAM, and the National Digital Library.
Hostel: MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi has an on-campus hostel facility available for the students. A mess facility is also available at the rate of Rs 3000 per month on campus. The hostel has facilities such as different buildings for boys and girls, a table tennis room, a volleyball court, an athletics track, a kabaddi court, carrom boards, chess boards, a lawn and a playground.
Sports: Thanks to its numerous sporting facilities, the college has a solid basis in sports. The institution offers both outdoor and indoor sports facilities, including badminton, carrom, chess, football, volleyball, and table tennis, to help students stay active and develop their sporting abilities. Students of MITAOE frequently compete in intra-college, inter-college, and departmental sports tournaments.
Medical centre: Primary first aid and counselling facilities are available when needed for the faculty and students.
Labs: The MITAOE campus has a civil engineering lab, chemistry lab, computer lab, electronics lab, language lab, mechanical lab, physics lab, multimedia lab, Linux lab, database lab, system programming lab, computer network lab, software lab and a project lab.
Student clubs: The MIT Academy of Engineering has 20+ clubs available on campus for students to participate and compete in. Some of these clubs are Aalekh- art elated club, aero, autosports, CodeChef campus chapter, developer student, digital design, drama, foreign language, girlscript, goonj, hacker rank, ignited minds, literary, menace dance, mozilla, prakruti, redx, robotics, spark sport, srujan, shutterbugs, maths, yoga and meditation clubs.
Corporate relation and placement: The CRO is a unique entity at the MITAOE campus that offers counseling and assists students to encourage them for Skill Based Training, Various Internship Programs, Recruitment Process, and Higher Education in renowned universities worldwide.
Entrepreneur development cell: At ED cell, we encourage and support students to opt entrepreneurship as a career opportunity and strengthen the student’s start-up at campus. International relation department: IR provides students exposure to the multi-cultural and global educational environment. MITAOE has international collaborations with some of the prestigious foreign universities. The collaborations give the students a platform to explore opportunities for further education abroad. The students also get to go to these universities for their projects and attend various seminars, conferences and workshops.
